As an agent-repped novelist and literature teacher, I bring a trained analytical eye to fiction.

From fleshing out an idea, honing an agent submission, to analysing a complete manuscript, I pinpoint what’s working, uncover what’s not, and coax new ideas to the fore — so the story can breathe alone.

As an experienced tutor and examiner, I know how to spot what’s holding a student back and what will move them upwards.

With tailored support and careful encouragement, I help them build confidence, develop skills, and boost grades — often beyond what they ever thought possible.

    I help GCSE and A-Level students build secure foundations in grammar and vocabulary, developing the confidence to communicate with accuracy and flair. At A-Level, we go further, exploring the cultural and social context of the Spanish-speaking world and building the sophisticated language skills needed for the highest grades.
